Following Government advice, all racing at Bath Racecourse will continue behind closed doors until further notice. From 24/09/20 all attendees to Bath Racecourse will be requested to fulfil the NHS Track & Trace system upon entry. Please see news for more info
Car parking at Bath Racecourse is free and plentiful. If you wish to leave your car overnight, please inform the parking stewards on your arrival and be aware that this is done so at your own risk. As our car park is a golf course, the stewards will direct you outside of any flying golf balls the next day. Please be aware that no caravans can be left overnight.
Bath Racecourse welcomes children and families and children under 18 are free to nearly all racing fixtures when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply – see individual fixtures for more details). Please note that up to four under 18-year olds can be accompanied by one responsible adult. Dispensation is granted for organised groups but advanced booking is essential. Please contact 01225 424609 for more information.
Senior Citizens and students with valid ID will receive £5 off Grandstand entrance tickets at all racing fixtures. This discount is only available on the day and does not apply to the Light Up Lansdown fireworks display and bonfire night.
Picnics are allowed in the Centre Course Enclosure or in the main car parks before, after or during racing. However, please note that you cannot bring food and drink into the Grandstand enclosure except on the designated family fun day on Sunday 13 September.
Only on our two-family days – Monday 6th May and Sunday 15th September – or in the Centre Course Picnic Enclosure when this area is open. Picnics can also be eaten in the car park before racing. No alcohol can be brought into the Grandstand Enclosure.
Not into the main Grandstand. When the Centre Course Enclosure is open you can bring in alcohol as part of your picnic- however glass bottles are not permitted.
Chairs will not be allowed to be brought into the racecourse during weekend fixtures, unless for medical reasons.
For all other fixtures, we take a pragmatic approach and allow chairs into the racecourse when crowd size allows. This is always at the discretion of the safety officer on the day.
With the exception of Guide Dogs of the Blind, dogs are not permitted to enter the racecourse. In the interests of animal welfare, no dogs are permitted to be left in cars and Bath Racecourse politely request that all dogs are left at home.
All Wheelchair users have access to a viewing platform to watch the racing, which is situated within the Grandstand enclosure. Please note: Only the wheelchair user and one carer have access to the viewing platform, the rest of the party are only entitled access to the enclosure which they purchased their tickets for.
