Conveniently located two miles north of the city centre, Bath Racecourse is just six miles south of Junction 18 of the M4 Motorway and is well sign-posted from all major routes to its location on Lansdown Hill.
On racedays we operate a bus service for anyone that would like to visit Bath Racecourse. The bus services picks up from the bottom of Manvers Street opposite Bath Spa Train Station.
You can reach Bath Racecourse from both the main London Paddington and South Wales lines. There are also regular connections from Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham.
Helicopters may land at the course on a raceday, with prior permission from the racecourse, on 01225 424609.
The Bath Racecourse Shuttle Bus will observe the following bus stops in Bath City Centre before travelling to the racecourse: Manvers Street (Stop Bf) – ideal for the bus and railway station, Guildhall (Stop Cf), Alfred Street (Stop Aa)

Children 15 and under travel free of charge when accompanied by a fare paying customer (maximum of two children per fare paying customer). No discount applies for students or young persons. Concessionary passes are not valid for travel.
Bath Outer Zone and West of England Zone First Bus day tickets are valid for travel on the Bath Racecourse Shuttle Bus Service. For example, a customer travelling from Bristol to Bath Racecourse would be able to purchase a Bath Outer Zone day ticket to include travel on all buses.
