With an ethos on using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, Bath Racecourse’s Executive Chef, Jonathan Williams, develops the Royal Crescent Restaurant menu with the aim of adding a twist to classic flavours. 

From curing the dill and lemon Gravadlax of Salmon to oak- smoking the bacon chop on site, attention to detail is paramount to the team of expert chefs

A note from the Executive Chef

‘’I was born and bred in Somerset, so having Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire foods available is hugely important to me. I think we’re lucky to live in the one of the best areas in the country for food and drink.

We’ve designed the menus to fit with our suppliers which allows us to source locally and are therefore able to put our spin on and modernize the food we are providing.

We’re always trying to do things different, creating a bespoke feel- whether that’s signature dishes, or curing our own meats. We’re trying to do as much as we can to make our offering unique and original’’
