Horse racing in August comes to Bath Racecourse with a Friday afternoon of flat racing on 27th August. Finish the week early, round up your mates and get the weekend started on the highest racecourse in the UK.
Friday afternoons are made for this. Leave the inbox behind and grab a spot on the lawns, in the grandstand or right by the rail. Feel the rumble of hooves as the field comes up the straight, then hear the cheer as they cross the line.
It's a social, laid-back afternoon, so bring colleagues, friends or the whole family and let the weekend begin a few hours early. Racing up here is quick, close and properly good fun to watch.
Bars and street food stalls around the course keep you going between races, and hospitality packages are there if you want guaranteed seating and a meal with a view of the track.
We're just minutes from the city centre, with free parking and easy transport links. Under-18s go free. Our late summer fixtures are popular, so book ahead.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
