Matt Mitter, CEO of Value Rater Racing Club - the free destination for news, tips, big race previews and reviews - gives his expert insights into Friday 7 June's race of the evening.

6.40pm 1m TC Building Services Handicap (Class 4)

The most valuable race on the card at Bath on Friday evening is the ‘T C Building Services Handicap (Class 4), which is run over the distance of 1 Mile.

Six runners go to post and if the weather forecast can be believed the track should have some rain Friday Morning, which should have should mean we might have some welcome change in the ground conditions.

NAHAM returns to Bath having won at the track two starts ago and must have a very good chance of winning again.

Since his last win, he ran at Kempton Park on the all-weather but had a very bad draw. He used up too much energy in the early part of the race to get a position and it rather told in the closing stages.

I think you can put a line through that run and he remains a horse that could win more races.

In opposition his main danger looks to be SALT WHISTLE BAY who was second last time at Lingfield Park when only finding WAR GLORY too good.

That piece of form has been franked since that run with the winner finishing second the time after at Sandown Park.

The other four runners in the race will need to improve on recent form to win this.
