We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Mike Tucker, a former steward and long-time valued member of the team at Bath Racecourse.
Even though he retired from racecourse stewarding here 3 years ago, it was so great to see that he was still busy and active with his commentating, and that you could still regularly hear his voice at many equestrian events.
Bath Racecourse Clerk of the Course, Katie Stephens commented "Mike was a racecourse steward for many years and was always extremely supportive. He always took a keen interest in the racecourse and often made very valuable contributions to strategies and procedures from a racing perspective."
Our sincere condolences go to Mike's family and friends from everyone at the racecourse and our thoughts are with them at this time.
