Horse racing in July comes with a West Country soundtrack on Friday 30th July. The Wurzels are back at Bath Racecourse, and this year marks 20 years of them playing here. Round up your mates, finish work and get the weekend started on the highest racecourse in the UK.
Two decades on, they're still the best way to finish a Friday. Once the racing is done, The Wurzels take to the stage and the whole course sings along. Hop on your Combine Harvester and come and join in.
Before that, there's an evening of flat racing. Find a spot by the rail, feel the rumble of hooves as the field thunders past and cheer home your favourite. Then the sun goes down and the dancing starts.
Our Bath Cider Lawn has a selection of ciders to enjoy in the July sunshine, with street food close by for when you need something to go with it. Get in early, because the early blackbird catches the worm. For the first hour after gates open, our in-house bars have 50% off draught drinks, including cider, lager, ale, Guinness and soft drinks. You'll also get £10 off bottles of house wine, Prosecco, Champagne and Pimm's jugs. T&Cs apply.

Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
