Good Friday racing is back at Bath Racecourse, the highest racecourse in the UK, and it's made for families. Bring a picnic, find a spot on the grass and watch an afternoon of flat racing with the Easter weekend still ahead of you. It's one of the easier things to do on Good Friday if you want the kids outdoors.
Pack the blankets and baskets, because you're welcome to bring your own picnic. Alcohol can't be brought onto the grounds. Stand by the rail and you'll hear the hooves before you see the horses.
Between races, there's plenty to keep children busy. Past Easter days have had egg hunts, a roaming band, trampolines and climbing walls.
If you'd like a table, our hospitality packages come with seasonal menus from our chefs, a private bar and a reserved seat with views of the finishing straight. It works for a family treat or a day with clients.
Book early to secure your place.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
All bookings directly through our website and over the phone with our customer service team do not incur a fulfilment fee – the price you see, is the price you pay! Bookings through our official hospitality partner Seat Unique have a fulfilment / booking fee applied. All bookings are made in accordance with our terms and conditions of entry.
Tickets will go on sale soon for this event.
