BathFest comes to Bath Racecourse on Sunday 12th September, with an afternoon of flat racing and live music from local artists and upcoming talent from across Somerset and Wiltshire. Pack a picnic, bring the family and make a day of it on the highest racecourse in the UK.
The stage is for local acts, so you'll hear fresh sounds from right on your doorstep. The 2027 line-up is coming soon. Past family days at Bath have had face painting, giant bubbles, a treasure hunt and inflatables and games for the children.
Between the music, there's racing to enjoy. Grab a spot by the rail and feel the rumble of hooves as the field comes up the straight, then hear the cheer at the line. The children can see the horses and jockeys up close, which tends to go down well.
Bring your own picnic and find a patch of grass, or pick up something from the pop-up bars and street food stalls. There's plenty of outdoor space to spread out. No alcohol or glass can be brought on site.
Under-18s go free, so it's a good one for the whole family. Sunday fixtures at Bath are popular, so book online to secure your place.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
