The May Bank Holiday family fun day is back at Bath Racecourse, just minutes from Bath city centre. It's an afternoon of flat racing with plenty for the kids to do. Bring the family and make the most of the long weekend.
Pack the baskets, grab a blanket and find a spot on the grass. You're welcome to bring your own food. Alcohol can't be brought onto the grounds. We're the highest racecourse in the UK, so there's lots of space and fresh air for children to run about. Stand by the rail as the horses go past and you'll hear the hooves before you see them.
Between races, there's plenty to keep little ones busy. Past family days have had face painting, trampolines, a climbing wall, inflatables and a birds of prey display. Grown-ups can grab a drink from the bars while the children burn off some energy.

Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
