Horse racing in July comes to Bath Racecourse with a midweek afternoon of flat racing on Wednesday 14th July. Round up friends or workmates, swap the office for open skies and enjoy a summer afternoon at the highest racecourse in the UK.
Grab a spot on the lawns, watch from the grandstand or lean on the rail as the runners thunder up the home straight. The hooves get louder, the crowd gets louder and the sun does the rest. Racing up here is quick, close and properly good fun to watch.
Bars and food stalls are dotted around the course, so there's room for a drink and a chat between races. Hospitality packages are available if you'd like guaranteed seating and a meal with a view of the track.
We're just minutes from the city centre, with free parking and easy transport links. Under-18s go free, so bring the family too. Summer fixtures are some of our most popular, so book ahead.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
